Cannot Rename Project

Prior to upgrading our server, we could rename a project from the
server (right click and rename). Since the server upgrade it
"appears" to accept the change, but it never changes. Additionally,
we could rename projects from the PWA side, but same thing, it
"appears" to accept the change, but the project title never changes.

Any ideas or suggestions as to what is happening?

So you are on Project Server 2007 now? Do you have SP1 installed? If not do
so immediately as 2007 before SP1 was bug ridden!
