Cannot reply or forward to incoming email

Hi,

This is weird... I receive an e-mail but the Reply, Reply to All, Forward
buttons are all greyed out (in the Standard toolbar and in the shortcut
menu). How can this be?

Using Outlook 2003, Windows XP.

Check your account setting to make sure that you have an email account setup
both a pop and SMTP setting

Neil,

I should have specified that this happen to the odd email. Actually, it
happened only twice. But it is still frustrating!

Are you saying that when you get some email you can reply and others you
cannot reply? How many email accounts do you have setup? What is common
about the emails that you can not reply to? If you look at the "To:" for
the emails that can not reply do they all say the same as the ones that you
can reply to?

Hi Neil,

When this happened, everything seemed normal except for the fact that the
email was "unrepliable". There's only one account that is set up.
