I have a paid Hotmail Plus subscription, and have always downloaded and
viewed hotmail messsages through my Outlook 2003. Then this past weekend I
moved, got a new wireless internet connection, and now am unable to retrieve
my hotmail messages. I receive the following error message:
"Task 'Hotmail (1): Folder:Inbox Synchronizing headers.' reported error
(0x800CCCF4) : 'An unknown error has occurred. Please save any existing work
and restart the program.'
I have restarted Outlook, and have removed and re-added my hotmail account
to no avail. Have contacted Hotmail and their response is that there is no
reason on their end that I should not be able to receive my messages through
Outlook.
My ISP provider (Starhub in Singapore) also was unable to help me with this,
although the technician did mysteriously say it was a "known error", and that
I should keep trying (!), and offered no additional solution.
Can anyone help me with this??
Thanks.
