All,
Our solution has a project hierarchy of one top-level master project,
several sub-projects, and tasks beneath the sub-projects. We use the PSI to
read in a particular sub-project dataset and update task rows...in some cases
this means the task's progress %, start date, and finish date changes. These
values will roll up into the task row of the immediate parent project, but
they don't seem to roll-up higher and affect the overall progress or
start/finish dates of the master project.
Visual example:
Master Proj(0%) <--Not rolling up. Needs to change, staying at 0%
|V|
Sub Proj(35%) <--Seems to roll-up for sub-project's task row
|V|
Task1(10%)
Task2(50%)
Task3(10%)
We have to open the file in Microsoft Project, expand the nodes, and resave
for the progress %/start/finish dates to be calculated for the higher level
master project. Is there anyway to do this via code??
Thanks ahead of time!
