I get this message when I fill out a form that I published on the web using

Does your web site have FP extensions installed and working?
Did you publish via http method or by ftp?
Does you how allow FP form handler to work?

Post the URL to the form.

I'm setting up a virtual web site and this is what jumpline has sent me. Any
help appreciated, since they offer little help for publisher users.

The problem is that by default your copy of Frontpage or Publisher is not
setting the location that the form data is being sent to properly. I do not
know if there is a way to override this so I have updated the file on the
server for you again. However, if you publish again then the file will be
overwritten with the (non working) copy from your computer.

Here is a new reference for you: Web forms:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/publisher/CH063576891033.aspx
And specifically you might read the section on "set web form control
properties".

Double-click the submit button on your Web form.
Under Button properties, click Submit.
Do one of the following:
To label the button "Submit," select the Button text is same as button type
box.
To rename the button, clear the Button text is same as button type check
box, and then type the new name in the Button text box.
To select your method of data retrieval, click Form Properties, and then
select the options that you want.

There is a lot of good information in Help too. Just open Help in Publisher
and type in "forms", and read the material.

You must also always upload using HTTP uploading protocol, or you will break
the FPSE. So, read the information about HTTP uploading here: Three top
questions about publishing a Web site using Publisher 2003:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/publisher/HA011186811033.aspx

The process is the same as if you were publishing your site made in
FrontPage, thus these instructions by your host also apply:
