Cannot save documents in Word

In the past week, when I try to save a document in Word, I get the
following message:

"The disk is full trying to write to C:. Free some space on this drive,
or save the document on another disk."

My C drive isn't nearly full - it has a good 20 gigs left. I've tried
saving to my second hard drive and to floppy disk with the same result.

All other programs are working properly and will save documents.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

.. Joann

Something in that file is probably corrupt. Try deleting things one at a
time and saving the file, if possible. Worse case scenario: You can copy the
text and paste it into Notepad. You'll have to start over again but you'll
find out what went south.

Hi,

Just a thought: have a look at the size of your "normal.dot" template file.
Perhaps it grows like mine does and eventually crashes things. See my
posting of 25/2/06
