Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: pop Hi, there is no way to save all emails just from one sender? For example when I select all emails from my mom, I don't have the option to save them. If I go to export, it wants to export the entire email account. So in order to save her emails into one text file, I have to click on every single one individually and copy and paste the text???

You can assign a category to them and export as .rge file for that category.

You can place them in a folder and drag that folder to the desktop.

You can drag individual messages to the desktop as .eml files.

Thanks... I did the folder thing, that made an mbox file, I need them to be in a text format so I can read them anywhere. Will rge convert to a text file?

No, but you can use a script that will export messages as text files.

Save messages as text files:

Entourage Many to Word By: Allen Watson
This script will take one or more selected messages (or a single message
if open) and will write them all to a single Microsoft Word document.

Many to TextEdit by: Allen Watson
Same as Entourage Many to Word. Saves to TextEdit and not Word.

There are third party options like EagleFiler and DevonThinkPro that
might be worth checking out. Both have demos.
