Cannot save files in Word

Not sure if this is yet another manifestation of the ongoing problems with
MS06-015 but whenever I try to save a file I get a "disk is full or too many
files are open" error message. My disk is not full and I have no other files
open. I have tried the fix listed in MS06-015 and this has not worked. Any
suggestions?

In fact, I've even uninstalled the update and the problem is still happening.
The problem only started happing after the update was applied though.

The problem you are seeing is not related to this update. You should
reinstall the update.

Version of Word?

Are you working with removable media (floppy, CD, flash disk, etc.)?
