CANNOT SAVE IN MSWORD

I am unable to save anything in MSWORD. Can you please take a look at:

because I have made many posts there and they told me to come here for the

What happens when you try to save? How are you saving (Save button, File |
Save menu command, Ctrl+S shortcut)? Do you get an error message? If so,
please quote the exact text.

I read through the thread there. I have two thoughts:

1. It might be a virus.

2. It might be registry corruption.

For #1, you should make sure your a/v software is up to date, and do a
complete scan.

For #2, try creating a new shortcut for Word, and add the /a switch. The
target will end like this:

....winword.exe" /a

Start Word using that shortcut. Can you save now? If so, then remove the /a
switch and see if Word is still fixed. If yes, great. If not, then try the
steps shown here:
