Cannot save... The folder is marked as 'Read Only'

When ever I try to issue a "Save As" in an office 2003 product is says the folder is marked as 'Read Only'. Yet when I issue a "Save" it saves the file without a problem. I check with networking and I do have read/write rights to the drive in question. Anyone else have this problem?

I have a similar problem. We are using GSNW, and users
get exactly the same error when attempting "save as" to a
folder on a Netware 4.11 server through the GSNW share
from Office 2003 apps. However they can drag and drop
files to the same folder using explorer with no problem.
The folders appear to have an unusual read only check
mark on them - a filled in box as opposed to the normal
check mark.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I am having the same problem. Using "save as" actually works, but
ONLY if you save it with the exact same name and in the same place
(like using "save")
