cannot save to cdrw

running word 2002 on winxp home and trying to "save as"
to the cdrw. used to be able to do it but no longer. get
an error message "disk is full or too many files are
open". it's a new cdrw disk. any help would be
appreciated. thank you

Don't ever try to save from Word to any type of removable media. Save to the
HD and copy to the disk/CD (in this case using your CD mastering software).
