cannot see other's appointments

We are using Exchange 2000 with a combination of Outlook
2000 and 2002. I have set up reviewer permissions on
calendars so that we can keep up with who is out of the
office, etc. We can open the calendar folders for the
other users, but none of the appointments show up. Help!
