Cannot see RBS selection in Resource Substitution Wizard MSP2007

We are using a standalone implementation of MSP Enterprise 2007, and Project
Professional 2007. We have set up the RBS for the organization, and entered
the positions in the RBS for several resources. We have also set up skills
codes for some resources.

When we run the Resource Substitution Wizard in MSP Pro, after connecting to
the server, we do not see the RBS selection (called "At or below the selected
RBS level"). When we get to the question "Include Resources", we only see
two radio buttons, "In the Selected Projects" and "Specified Below". I am
using the Administrator login, which has all permissions enabled, so I am
thinking this is not a permission issue. Any other reasons why one would not
see the RBS radio button and associated RBS level selector?

What you are seeing are now the only choices available in the Resource
Substitutuion Wizard, which is a change from Project Server 2007. Your
choices are simply to use the resources already loaded in the projects
selected for substitution. or to manually create a pool of resources from
which the wizard can select for substitution. So, the tool is not broken.
What you see is what you get! :)

Hope this helps.

Hi Dale,

Thanks a lot for responding to my question so quickly. I was sure I had
seen references to the RBS selection radio buttion in the the Project 2007
documentation for the Resource Sub Wizard. There certainly do seem to be
quite a few look and feel differences between 2003 and 2007. Thanks again.
