Cannot see Subproject detail tasks on Master Project

Using Project Server 2003 and Project 2003 on the desktop. We have one
master project set up with various subprojects in it. When we're viewing the
master project through PWA, it will list each of the subprojects as tasks,
but they are not expandable (have a minus sign instead of a plus sign) so
that we can see the tasks associated with each subproject? Does anyone know
if this is by design, a glitch, or if there's something special that has to
be done in order to have access to that information from this view? Thanks!

This is by design and is not a bug or glitch. If you wish to view the
details of each subproject, you must open the master project in Microsoft
Project Professional. Hope this helps.
