CANNOT SEE WHAT SECTION I AM CURRENTLY EDITING

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Power PC

Word 2004 and all earlier versions always showed your current page number AND section number in the lower left hand corner. 2008 seems to have done away with this VITAL information. One of many things that seem to be missing in this new but not improved version. I have to uninstall 2008 and reinstall 2004 to do my work, this is bad, bad, bad.

Yes, a lot of people miss the status info that used to be on the Status
Bar... Almost makes you wonder why *it* was even retained, huh?:)

Use Help> Send Feedback to make MS aware of your need & document the
requirement as accurately as you can.
