Until recently, I have been able to send e-mails using Outlook 2002 (XP) to
multiple users on my workstation. This is a breakdown of the situation:
• When I send an e-mail to two or three recipients, Outlook removes it from
the Outbox and places it in the Sent Folder but none of the recipients
receive it. I trimmed down the recipients to simply two recipients and the
same problem persists.
• When I send an e-mail to one recipient and CC to one other user, Outlook
removes it from the Outbox and places it in the Sent Folder but none of the
recipients receive it.
• My e-mail account has an Internet mail interface and when I send an e-mail
to multiple users (both in the TO field and in the TO & CC fields), the
recipients receive the e-mails.
• When I utilize Outlook form another computer, set up my e-mail account and
send an e-mail to multiple users (via all users in the TO field or a
combination of users in the TO & CC fields) the message goes through with no
problem.
• I separate the users with a semicolon (. Outlook Auto-Completes known
addresses and when I hit Enter, the semicolon appears and I can type in the
next user. I have even backspaced and typed in the semicolon ( but to no
avail.
• I have multiple e-mail accounts in Outlook and have resorted to entering
the FROM field for the only e-mail account I have ever used as a sender.
• I have gone on to Microsoft and updated Office through Office Update. The
problem still persists. I have checked for viruses, worms, and trojans, and
the computer is not infected.
• I have a mailing list of over 25 recipeints and when I use that mailing
list account, the mails go through. It appears that Outlook is no longer
accepting mutliple users for outgoing messages. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
• I utilize Deliver & Read Receipts for all outgoing messages which is what
drew my attention to the problem.
