cannot send e-mails with outlook

I am running on an XP Professional PC using Microsoft Outlook 2002 and am having diffculty with sending e-mails. I can receive but not send.

I continue to get this messag
TASK 'MICROSOFT EXCHANGE SERVER - SENDING' REPORTED ERROR (0x8004010F): 'THE OPERATION FAILED. AN OBJECT COULD NOT BE FOUND.

If anyone else has this problem please reply as soon as possible
