Cannot send emails

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Email Client: pop I'm away from home and cannot send emails from my location. I'm able to receive. I've tried changing the outgoing server and default port with no luck. Emails piling up, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your SMTP server probably doesn't allow connections from a remote location.
You need to use another SMTP server (the one from the ISP you are using
while being away?).

As Corentin mentioned, you need a different SMTP for access.
