Running Outlook (Office 2003 pro) on WinXP laptop. I have two ISPs.
Everything worked well at home (wired small home network connectd via ASDL
modem and router to ISP). Now, on a few days meeting, connecting to inertnet
via local wireless connection, cannot send e-mail from outlook via any of the
smtp servers I use. Receiving works fine, internet access ok. Webmails on
both is ok too.
Error messages are “(0x8004210B) : 'The operation timed out waiting for a
response from the sending (SMTP) server. If you continue to receive this
message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider
(ISP).â€'. I have extended waiting time to 4 min to avail.
I have SSL on one ISP using ports 995 (pop3) and 25(smtp) and regular
connection on the other (ports 110 and 25).
I need to send from my laptop to share documents with other people attending
the meeting.
Any suggestions, please?
