I hope you can help…
Using Outlook 2007 on Windows 7 64bit Ultimate. My email accounts are
simple imap and pop with smtp.
Whenever sending attachments over 91 KB, I receive the error: "Task
'(e-mail address removed) - Sending' reported error (0800CCC13) : 'Cannot connect to the
network. Verify your network connection or modem.'"
If I try to receive an email with an attachment, it will download 91 KB of
the file and say it is complete, leaving either a partial image file or a
corrupted document.
It worked fine for about 6 months, then the problems appeared around Dec
5th, but nothing new was installed for 2 weeks prior, and no updates for 5
days prior.
Thunderbird works just fine. No problems sending or receiving any size
email. This is only happening in Outlook.
I created a new windows user account and configured Outlook using the same
pop email that wasn't working, allowing Outlook to automatically configure
the email. Everything worked perfectly. No problems sending or receiving
any size email.
I have tried completely uninstalling my internet security, creating a new
..pst, tried different smtp's (including Verizon, my isp), deleting the
existing and creating a new Outlook profile, and installing Outlook 2010.
I've run Secpol.msc and Rsop.msc to check the local security and domain
policies and found nothing.
Scouring the web, there are a few others who have had this problem in
Outlook 2003 and 2007, but none had a resolution.
Could this be a problem with the original Windows 7 user account where
Outlook isn't able to send or receive attachments greater than 91 KB? I
don't know where to look anymore.
Thanks so much!
