Hi, I'm trying to imbed a small .wmv file into a letter
and send it so that the reader can click and play the
movie while reading the letter.
I've used the "insert/object/media clip" selecting the
file and inserting it. It shows up fine and I can resize
it to the right size and it plays fine. I save the file,
reopen it and it plays fine.
However, the program looks for the file on my hard drive
to play it. If I change the name of the file, or email it
to someone else, the player tries to find the file on my
computer (which it can't do, obviously) so all they get
is a blank.
How can I get the movie file to be imbedded into the
document and play on someone else's computer after I
email it to them?
I really appreciate your help.
Thanks,
Dave
