Cannot set up or active email in outlook.

I am required to use Office Professional 2003 on my laptop and when it was
loaded it wiped out my 2002 Outlook and now I cannot set up email in the new
Outlook. The set up new Email button does nothing. When I go to choose
email accounts it tells me to close and reopen Outlook or reinstall. I have
done both of these with out success.

Make sure your account is configured properly in Control Panel-> Mail

Thank you for the response to my question but the same thing happens in
Control Panel-> Mail. When I open Mail and click Configure Mail it will not
open to let me configure the mail. Any other options?
