Cannot shify objects off sheet

I get the error cannot shift objects off sheet when trying to insert blank
rows in a spreadsheet. Any idea what this means?

Thanks

I can't explain exactly why it does this, but I do have a solution.

Delete a few blank rows before you insert some. This message (though it
doesn't exactly make sense, is Excel's way of saying "i'm full up with rows".

Do you have anything on Row 65536?
Are the scroll bars tiny?
You probably have some content right down at the bottom of the sheet.
Highlight the whole row from just after the last row that should be used
down to the end (shift +end down) and do Edit>>Delete, that should sort it.

cheers
