I am using Outlook 2007 with Windows 7.
Outlook 2007 has been running great for half a year since I installed
it. Now I am getting this message:
"Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook
window. The set of folders cannot be opened.
Errors have been detected in the file
C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst Quit
Outlook and all mail-enabled applications,
and then use the Inbox repair took (Scanpst.exe) to diagnose and
repair errors in the file. For more
information about the Inbox repair tool, see Help."
I have done a repair for Outlook 2007 and a reinstall, it still gives
me this error.
Once I get the error, I cannot open Outlook (it gives me this message
box with only an OK and then I have
to close out, so I can't backup the pst files.
I can't seem to run Scanpst.exe (the file is not showing up). How do
I show hidden files in Windows 7?
(I also can't find the .pst files)
Please advise.
