Cannot start Outlook

I have not been able to open Outlook (Office XP Small
Business); I get a message saying "cannot start MS
Outlook MAPI32.DLL is corrupted or wrong version; could
have been caused by installing other messaging software;
please reinstall outlook".

I tried reinstalling it, but it still doesn't work. Any
suggestions?
