Cannot sync AD Group with the Enterprise Resource Pool

Help! I cannot sync my PWA group with an NT group
- have tried both from Server Config menu and Group Maint men
- I have installed Proj. Server SP1 on my Win2k server
- Project Server Connector Service is running

Not sure now if I even have Active Directory installed? How can
tell
Considering what I found on the Net, I am getting the 'normal' error
which were to be resolved by insalling SP1
[AD Res Pool Sync - Accessing AD Groups failed : (20004)FetchGroup
...
[ADsObject_Get_AsRS - Can't access the global catalog of domain ..

Suggestions anyone
