Cannot Sync Calendar in Outlook with XDA2i using Microsoft Actives

B

Brian

I am using Outlook 2003 and Active Sync 3.8 to syncronise my Calendar with my
XDA2i.

When I create the initial partnership everything looks ok, however once I
remove the XDA from the cradle and reconnect it tries to create a new
partnership and this time Calendar does not sync it look to be disabled.

I have tried reinstalling both the xda software and activesync but get the
same result

Please help

Try it with the latest version of ActiveSync instead (v4.1)

Tips of the month:
-FREE tool; QuickMail. Create new Outlook items anywhere from within Windows
-Properly back-up and restore your Outlook data

Thanks Robert
I tried V4.1 but the same problem persists for some reason the PC Sync
options on the xda are not set when the first partnership is created forcing
a second partnership on reconnecting the xda to the cradle and this time the
Calendar option is not available to sync. This looks like the problem no
matter whic version of active sync is used

Kind regards,
Brian

Since it is an issue with either your mobile device or ActiveSync and not
Outlook it's better to continue this in the mobiledevices newsgroup.

Thanks Robert,

I will add this to the Mobiledevices newsgroup. One thing that still worries
me is that I can sync Contacts, Tasks, Notes and Emails with Outlook the only
one that does not work is the Calendar. Any thoughts

Kind Regards,
Brian
