Cannot sync with Outlook 2002, but wife's pda can?

I cannot get my iPAQ 3835 to sync with Outlook 2002 or avantgo, keeps telling
me to restart system and try again. Wife though is able to sync her pda
"1930" without any problems. Have activesync 3.7.1 and have updated oulook
2002 with web site updates. Have reset pda several times also. Thankyou for
any help anyone can give me.
