Cannot synchronize mails in MS Outlook

I use MS Outlook 2002 to read my Hotmails. It used to work ok. But now when I
try to send / receive my hotmails, it keeps on asking for username and
password. I changed the account type from hotmail to MSN in the account set
up - but did not help.
