On 2 separate Windows 2000 Small Business Servers, in 2 different domains, I
cannot telnet to Port 25, even from the local host. The message returned is:
"Could not open a connection to host on port 25". SMTP appears to be
configured properly, and netstat -an shows that TCP is listening on the port.
I need to set up the shared fax service to forward to e-mail in each of these
domains, yet this problem appears to be what's blocking it.
Can anyone help?
