cannot turn off mail notificaton ANNOYING beep

Hello ... this may be stupid but I cannot turn off the "beep" Outlook
2003 is makin when I receive new mails. I went to the "sound and audio
devices" control panel, under "sound" tab, but did not find any entry
related to Outlook 2003.

Any ideas?

Look in Tools | Options | Preferences tab | Email Options button | Advanced
