Cannot type anything

Just recently i noticed that anytime i go into any
microsoft office program i cannot type anything. All that
it says on the bottom of the screen is this doccument is
locked for edit. I tried everything i could think of and
even uninstalled it, and then tried to reinstall it more
then once. Thanks.
