Cannot Type Text Into The Excel VBA Help Index

I cannot type text into the Excel VBA Help Index. I found a relevant
article 263647 in the Microsoft Knowledge Base and
followed all of the article's suggestions, however the problem
still remains.

I am running Excel 2000 SP-3 on Windows 2000 professional.

Can anyone help me? Thanks.
