Cannot Update Office 2003

If I try to do an Update of my new Office 2003
Installation I get Error

"A Runtime Error has ocurred Line 698. Error - Automation
Server can' create object".

If I say No - screen stays at 40% and then goes to a
screen saying Office cannot update at the moment. This
has been like this now for several days.

Any suggestions please.

If you have Zone Alarm running in the background, it may be the culprit. Or
it may be some other Firewall program.
