cannot use distribution lists

When I use a distribution list, I get the message: "An unexpected error has
occured"

To receive assistance in a newsgroup, you would need to provide complete,
accurate and detailed information. Just pretend we don't know the precise
steps you are using, your Outlook version, your mail account type, your
information store, and what type of DL this is. Might also want to include
whether you have ever been able to use DL's, and if so what changes created
this behavior.
