Cannot use Object Linking and Embedding error

We just removed the w32.hllp.goabot.az virus from our
network. Repairing Windows 2000 OS and reinstalling
Office 2000 still leaves us with the above error when
trying to open Excel. Current virus definitions with
Norton AV confirm the system is clean, but I'm still left
with errors.....anyone else had this problem?

Hi Keith,

It could be you are encountering a conflict in Norton. In Norton
Options go to the Miscellaneous section and disable the "Office
Plug-in" option.
