Cannot view embedded images on Outlook 2002

Hi everyone.

I'm using Outlook 2002.
I cannot view embedded jpg's or gifs in an email. They only appear as attac
hments. If I want to view them I have to click one by one to open them and t
his is extremely annoying.
I was using Outlook Express and it does show the embedded images of the emai
l. I started using Outlook 2002 due to password protection that is has with
its pst files.

I went to Tools -> Options -> Mail Format and tried all possible combination
s (RTF format, HTML format) and same thing happens.

What can I do?

That is controlled in your Security settings in Tools, options, security,
"Change automatic download settings" button. Uncheck "Don't
download.....etc."

Well, I don't have that option,
In Tools, options, security there's a "configuration" button that says
something
about a digital ID; a "zone configuration" button,"import or export digital
ID" button and a "get digital id" button.

My version of Outlook is 2002 (10.2627.2625) I'm using Office XP by the way.

Perhaps, but that's how Outlook works. Attachments will always be shown as
attachments.

Either go back to Outlook Express or use Outlook as it is. There are
add-ons, though, that may make it more palatable. See
