Cannot view "insert picture" file

H

Helen

I no longer seem to be able to view pictures inserted through the
"insert picture" menu in any of the MS Office suite applications - I
used to be able to do this! In my case I am trying to use .tif and
..jpg files. I get a blank white box in their place. I am running
OSX and Office X and have applied all the latest upgrades. I am able
to drag and drop or copy pictures from existing documents that have
picture files inserted in them.

Hi

It may be that when the pictures were created that a preview was not
created. Some programs create previews, others don't. Check the prefs on the
program that created the pictures.
