cannot view or print all cell info

Hi,
I am trying to view & print all of the text info in a
cell. I have tried expanding the cell, decreasing the
font, and no matter what i still have to click within the
cell to "see" everything in that cell. I tried inserting a
new column and copying to the new column/cells but no
change.

Hopefully is is just a setting somewhere.

Hi,

You can view it and print it as long as the cells next to
the one containing long data in the same row are empty.
However, there is a limitation to the no of characters
which can be typed in a cell

thanks for reply. so if I insert a column
next to the one with all the text it will view
and print...or is is just because i am at
the maximum number of characters allowed for
that cell?

If you leave excel to its own devices, you'll see about 1000 characters in that
cell. But if you pepper a few alt-enters (to force new lines at nice spots),
you can see more.
