CAN'T ACCEPT TASKS OR TASK UPDATES IN OUTLOOK 2007 USING GMAIL

Roy Arellano

What is it about using Gmail and trying to use the Tasks feature in
Outlook. I had the same issue with 2003 and again now with 2007.
Someone please help.

ISSUE:
- Create a new task request
- Fill-in all appropriate information
- Send....

Normally if sent to other accunts then it works fine, but if that
account lets say some small company account on Exchange, will not
proces the task and strip from being a task and estead becomes an
email. This is so frustrating. I only use Outlook 2007; Gmail accounts

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

Thank youss

GMail does not currently support tasks but I understand they are working on
it.

Thank you, I have reviewed the article and will utilize that standard
in the future. I am, by the way, using Outlook 2007 (Office Ultimate
Edition). Funny thing is it use to work up in till this past year. Any
estimated time for implementation by part of Google (Gmail) to permit
the processing of MS Outlook task/task requests?

Thank you
