can't accept tasks

I have recently reinstalled Outlook 2003 on my computer. I am unable to open
tasks that were assigned to me.
Reading all the posts concerning this - it seems that the solution is to
uninstall update KB892843 and/or KB913807. When I go to uninstall software I
do not see those updates....there are others but not this one.
What other options do I have to get this working correctly.
