Cant access Account options error (-30588)

Upgraded yesterday to the new office. In Entourage, I cant get the upgraded
accounts to open for editing. They work as before, but I cant access the
options, and the upgrade install seems to return options to defaults. for
instance, automatic signature attachment to new emails is now turned off.

I get this error message:
An unknown error (-30588) has occurred , which I try and edit an account.

I have made a new account with the old info, but this wont open as well.

I have rebuit and compacted the databases.

any thoughts?
