Can't access MS access 2000/2002 database using vb6 ado

Dear Sir/Mam:
I am using access database in my application. Access 97
database is working corectly with vb 6.0 but access
2000/2002 is not working and giving error message
like"Unrecognized database format.
Please help me to sort out this problem.

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you are trying to
do, however, I do note that the only time I see that
message is when I try to open a later database
(2000/2002/2003 format) in Access 97.

Example: I have Access 97, 2000, 2002 and 2003 loaded on
my machine. If I work on a 97 database and then go to
open a 2002 database it will attempt to open in 97, giving
me that "unrecognized database format" message, as that
was the last access version I used. I have to open 2002,
then open the database (or make a corrective shortcut).
