Can't Access Track Changes

I'm working in Word 2007 and am trying to revise a document we received as an
email attachment. We do this daily and for some reason, when I try to access
the Track Changes feature, I cannot turn it on. It appears to be unavailable
to me. What can I do? The attorney I work for needs to see the changes we
make.

Save the attachment to your hard drive before opening it to edit. Any
attachment opened directly from an e-mail will open as read-only. You must
save it first to open it in editable format.
