Can't activate Office 2007 beta

[Office 2007 Beta Activation]

I have been trying for 3 days now to activate Office 2007. It claims my
connection to the internet cannot be found. I did activate Vista Beta and
have been on the web and getting and sending my eamails. Also some of the
major funstions of Outlook are not available, reply, forward etc.

I've been having the same problem since Saturday. I was going to phone in
the activation, but there is no phone number. I am at a loss as to what to
do, install/reinstall/install/reinstallllllll argh! I've never had so much
trouble with an MS product before. I uninstalled my Office 2003 prior to
installing 2007, and I'm really sorry I did. I'm seeing all the problems
everyone else is having, and I'm wondering if I'll be able to reinstall the
2003 suite. Ready to give up on the beta. I've used Outlook for several
years, but now the 2007 version of everything is disabled without even being
able to evaluate anything.... it is really frustrating.

It worked for me. I was not able to activate at all for days. Got the same
errors that everyone else was getting. This solution from Microsoft worked
(I used Method 2)
