can't add a new record

It sounds like lots of people are having this issue, but none of the other
suggestions I have read fixed my problem. I have an Access database that I
used last year, but now when I try to enter data I can't get to a new record
in my form view. I have "allow additions" set to "Yes". What else should I
try. Thanks!!

Are you on Windows Vista now or have you upsized to Access 2007?
Seems like those two issues contributed to read-only issues.

Well, make sure the folder it sits in is not Read only. I'm assuming you're
not trying to update an MDB that was saved to a read-only CD, right?
