cant add e: address list to distribution list

I cant paste a list of copied email addresses into "add to distribution list"
at "select members" stage of new distribution list. Cant get curser into
box and no option for paste on right click (as instructed from
troubleshooting) I have done this with no problems on same software,
different computer.

please help
