Cant add page border

Word drives me to distraction. I,m using an A4 page, the set up knows its an
A4 page but when I try
to add a border to an entire page it only does it on both sides. I,m almost
at stage where I get a ruler out and do it,
be a darn sight quicker. Any ideas?

Probably you are trying to add a page border in the unprintable region
defined by the printer's limitations. When you add the border, can you see
it OK in both Page Layout and Print Previews?
