Can't Add Pictures to Photo Gallery

When I click on the Pictures|Add button, I get the following error message:

The instruction at "0x73dd11c7" referenced memory at "0x00000004". The
memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program.

Stand alone Windows XP Home SP2, Frontpage 2002. Any ideas what is
wrong? Tried reinstalling to no avail. Remove first three letters of
email.
