Can't add subform to main form

Using Access 2003 on my local machine to create a DB to track interns. I am
using tabs on my main form, when ever I attempt to add subforms to any of the
tabbed pages I get the following:

"There isn't enough memory to perform this operation. Close unneeded programs
and try again."

The entire main form then will no longer open giving the same error. I have
tried closing everything on my desktop except Access. I have created
different subforms. ??? I just created this database last week. I have not
seen this error in previous database projects using subforms on tabbed pages.


Any ideas?

How big is your database? How many tabs to you already have? When was the
last time you ran Compact & Repair?
